It's been a good month!

When we returned to Geneva the second week of January we were welcomed by a beautiful snow fall. It would not have been so beautiful had we not been able to land at Geneva airport. However, seeing as this was not the case we enjoyed the next few days walking and observing all the fun to be had in the snow.

Diego celebrated his birthday the 19th of January and we had a very nice surprise to celebrate, a visit from Rene! He was on his way back from Argentina and brought us lots of yummy things to eat. We had a wonderful time having him here and even had a little lunch birthday party complete with presents(a fancy Nespresso machine) and cake!

That's not all....Bruno, a co-worker of Diego's from Asturias was here in the city and stayed with us for a night. We went out for a fabulous Thursday night Italian dinner and the boys took Friday off to hit the slopes.

And we really could not have asked for a better way to have ended the month than having Geli and Jesus here with us. They arrived to a snowy Geneva airport on Friday evening and we spent the weekend relaxing and enjoying the beautiful sunny weather. We took a day trip on Sunday to Annecy, France, a lovely city about 30 minutes from Geneva. We had lunch in the old historical district and then took a very nice walk around the lake; it was a perfect weekend. January was very good to us!
